A note from our Founder:
Hi, I’m Rafael, creator of The Finpact.
I believe the opportunity exists for each of us to become the architects of a more meaningful and rewarding career, almost at the speed of a thought.
You may already be living with that thought. Perhaps it's sealed tightly away in a box labelled "too hard", carefully hidden at the back of your brain, or maybe it's harder to ignore- like an anti-social-influencer photographing the food in the cafe of your mind.
For me, a barrage of thoughts came whilst working as venture capital investor. Eventually they distilled down to an idea:
"Unicorns don't have to be an invasive species"
In essence, we don't have to create scarcity as we create wealth. But there is no denying it has been the unintended consequence of our economic development over the last 200 years. Can we do better? Undoubtedly. But it's gonna take new thinking, resources, ambition and whole lot of money.
Before long, I was seeking to uncover every article, podcast and report I could get my hands on to better navigate this emerging paradigm. I met and interviewed amazing founders and capital allocators re-imagining finance and co-engineering this shift. Then I collaborated on podcasts with an awesome creator and friend, Grant Trahant, the founder of Causeartist, who was helping others discover real-life stories from the frontline of social entrepreneurship.
Today, I'm pouring these learnings, along with my ambition to bring every willing person along with me on this journey to impact. We often hear about better innovations and incredible startups but they all need capital. The fact remains, what we finance today shapes our world tomorrow. That's why I've created The Finpact.
By showcasing the stories of the people beating a new path, the road less travelled slowly reveals the desire lines of potential super highways for capital and progress towards a more sustainable and regenerative economic future.
