According to the World Bank, the world will need to produce about 70% more food to feed an estimated 9 billion people by 2050. But intensive farming practices have been a major contributor to climate change whilst also suffering from the effects of it.

The Asian Development Bank reported that between 1961 and 2021, climate change reduced global agricultural yield by 21%. In the same time period, food systems represented a third of total GHG emissions and were a major contributor to biodiversity loss. So how can we start to build better practices and what is the role of Impact Investing?

To explore this topic, I was joined by Addy Windsor-Clive of Regenerate Ventures who shared her perspectives and impactful work across food, agriculture and climate.

Prior to joining Regenerate, Addy held positions at Imprimatur Capital, Forward Food Tech, and Europe's largest regenerative farming project, Wildfarmed. In these roles, she developed specialized skills in agriculture technology, venture capital, and sustainable food systems.
